Top-rated tub replacement pros in Chicago, IL
10 bathtub replacement businesses made the cut for Chicago on Google Maps, ranked by rating rather than sorted by trade. That's a different list than our usual plumbers-first grouping, because a Google listing doesn't carry a trade classification the way a state file does. Confirm who's actually doing the plumbing connections before you book anyone on this list.

The bathtubs in Chicago are aging too
Homes in Chicago typically date to 1953.
A tub installed around then has usually outlasted at least one owner already, on the 1953 construction alone.
That is the kind of tub Chicago's pros are used to pulling out.
10 top-rated bathtub replacement companies in and near Chicago
Sorted by a star rating that leans on review volume instead of split by trade; it doesn't tell you which license, if any, covers the plumbing part of the job.

Questions before you swap a tub
- Is this a like-for-like swap, or does the drain move, and does that change whether we need a permit?
- Which of your licenses covers this: plumbing, or a remodeling license, or both?
- What does the new tub weigh, and does the floor underneath need any reinforcement?
- Was this house built before 1978, and if so, how are you handling any painted surfaces you disturb?
- Are you reusing the existing drain and overflow, or replacing that hardware too?
- What is the real difference in your price between refinishing, a liner, and a full replacement?
