Amherst's highest-rated bathtub replacement companies
Amherst gets a ranked list of 10 bathtub replacement companies here, pulled from Google Maps rather than a trade-sorted license file. Homes in Amherst typically date to 1975, old enough that the tub coming out is rarely the first one that bathroom has seen. None of these companies has been checked for a plumbing license; that question is still yours to ask.

Bathtub replacement in Amherst, MA, ranked by Google rating
Sorted by a star rating that leans on review volume instead of split by trade; it doesn't tell you which license, if any, covers the plumbing part of the job.

Questions before you swap a tub
- Is this a like-for-like swap, or does the drain move, and does that change whether we need a permit?
- Which of your licenses covers this: plumbing, or a remodeling license, or both?
- What does the new tub weigh, and does the floor underneath need any reinforcement?
- Was this house built before 1978, and if so, how are you handling any painted surfaces you disturb?
- Are you reusing the existing drain and overflow, or replacing that hardware too?
- What is the real difference in your price between refinishing, a liner, and a full replacement?
