Altamont's highest-rated bathtub replacement companies
Altamont isn't grouped by trade here, since Google Maps doesn't sort businesses into plumbers and bath specialists the way a license file does; instead, these 5 are ranked by Google rating. Whichever company you call, ask directly whether a plumber handles the drain and supply lines or whether that gets subcontracted out. A strong rating says nothing about which license covers the plumbing part of your swap.

The bathtubs in Altamont are aging too
Homes in Altamont typically date to 1972.
A tub installed around then has usually outlasted at least one owner already, on the 1972 construction alone.
That is the kind of tub Altamont's pros are used to pulling out.

Sorted by a star rating that leans on review volume instead of split by trade; it doesn't tell you which license, if any, covers the plumbing part of the job.

Questions before you swap a tub
- Is this a like-for-like swap, or does the drain move, and does that change whether we need a permit?
- Which of your licenses covers this: plumbing, or a remodeling license, or both?
- What does the new tub weigh, and does the floor underneath need any reinforcement?
- Was this house built before 1978, and if so, how are you handling any painted surfaces you disturb?
- Are you reusing the existing drain and overflow, or replacing that hardware too?
- What is the real difference in your price between refinishing, a liner, and a full replacement?
